When to Seek Urgent Care
Seek emergency care right away if leg pain comes with loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness in the groin or inner thighs, or rapidly worsening weakness in the legs.

Not always. Several things can cause leg pain, which is why a thorough exam matters.
Will I need a referral?
Most patients don't. If another provider would be helpful, we'll tell you.
